Pod silencers for rotary positive blowers are particularly designed and manufactured for fast assembly and functioning of blower packages. At the same time, it provides maximum silencing and reduced pulsation on blower discharge for the ones functioning above the specified transition speed. At EI Williams, we combine the silencer pod for blower with supports and motor into one unit to build an important part of the silencer. This unique and innovative design facilitates quick and easy installation, with reduced labor effort and overall blower assembly costs.

The Bs 14 Series Chamber Construction type pod silencers designed and manufactured by EI Williams consist of multi-tube, multi-chamber arrangement that incorporates high frequency absorption packing materials. Such absorption type packing materials effectively treats extreme high frequency noise and destructive vibrations by converting the noise energy into heat. The standard construction of the silencer is based on heavy duty welded carbon steel plates and sheets.

The inlet silencer nozzle comprises of a plain pipe which ensures easy slip on type flex connector fitting. Further, custom designs are also available to suit particular requirements, where the external surfaces are rust-protective primer coated. Certain optional features of the pod silencers include couplings for relief valve installation, special flanges, special paint, special materials, and tapping for pressure gauge. Up to 3 1/2” size - Male thread nipples
6” & above - 125 lbs. ANSI flange drilling
4” & 5” sizes - optional - male thread nipples or flanges
Larger sizes are available on request
Dimensions and weights are presented in approximate value, and might change little with production models

Bs 44 Series Chamber Absorption Type Pod Silencers

The Bs 44 Series Chamber absorption type pod silencers for rotary positive blowers are similar to that Bs 14, but with the only difference that the former is based on chamber absorption type silencer mechanism while the latter is only based on chamber construction type pod silencing mechanism. The chamber absorption pod silencers are particularly designed and manufactured for rotary positive blowers which operate at a rate higher than the specified transition speed, thus reducing noise and pulsation significantly. The standard dimensions and features are more or less similar to chamber construction pod silencers manufactured by EI Williams.
